02.05.2010 Vets win Jack Perry Cup

Congratulations to Clint Anglo and his Vets Squad for winning the Jack Perry Cup on Sunday morning. Playing at London Welshs Ground in Chiswick in horrible conditions, the Vets overcame a strong Aloysians outfit to win the trophy for the second time in six years. Great news for Old Manorians Football Club. Well done lads!!

24.04.2010 Fives finish second

Congratulations to Leon and Danny's Fifth Team for finishing as runners up in 3 West. They won a lot of games this season and probably deserved more then just runners up medals. But the lads can take heart from nine wins and a draw from their last ten games, and really build on that for next season - which ever elevens they may be managing.

18.04.2010 Vets stroll into Jack Perry Cup Final

Goals from Chris Ede and Del O'Brien saw Clint Anglo's Vets reach the Jack Perry Cup Final for the second time in six years. Manorians were simply too good for a lacklustre Dorkinians side, and were fitter, sharper and first to the ball all round the Park. Leading 2-0 at half time at a canter, and with Gary Munnelly and Simon Colbon (amongst others) playing superbly, the game should have been put out of reach by the hour mark. But chance after chance was missed, and, as we see in football so often, a Dorkinians goal meant back to the walls stuff for the last 15 minutes. Manorians saw the game out though, and deservedly reached another JP Final. Well Done lads!

03.04.2010 Hey Jude

A Chris Jude Hat trick saw the 5s leapfrog Magdalenians, and move up to second in 3 West. It was a tight, hard fought game, with Manorians eventually running out 3-2 winners. Thats eleven for Chris now, as he joins teammates Kingsley and Julian, in the race for the Golden Boot.

28.03.2010 Vets march on..

Our Vets reached the Semi Final of the Jack Perry Cup after comprehensively beating Wandsworth Borough 0-3 on Sunday morning. A superb free kick from Gary Munnelly, and a fine brace from Neville Blake, ensured a deserved victory for Clink Anglo's men.

27.03.2010 Tough at the top

Our ones were narrowly beaten on Saturday, with Mark Best scoring two in a 3-2 defeat away to Aloysians. Our threes, fours, fives and sevens all won though. Congratulations to Kingsley Iroegbu for smasing five goals past Pheonix for the fifth team. Thats 13 for the season for Kingsley now. Certain "Golden Boot" contender me thinks, hey Mr Baxter!

27.03.2010 Good weekend for Munners

Gary Munnelly has been superb in recent weeks, scoring in his last three games, and leading both the 4s and the vets to important victories this weekend. Three more wins pls Gary!!

27.03.2010 Sevens on a roll

The seventh team are now unbeaten in five games after beating Old Palmertarians 5-1 on Saturday afternoon. Young Leigh Givnan impressed again and scored twice, whilst Mark Hughes also chipped in with a brace. Dominic Jones Barrie scored the other goal. Keep up the good work lads.

20.03.2010 Phull brace keeps 4s top

Jaspal Phull scored twice in an important win for the 4s against Pheonix 3s. The 4s found themselves 0-1at half time, but Gary Munnelly levelled shortly after the break, by poking in the rebound from his own saved penalty. Phull, in for the injured (& suspended) Derek O'Brien, was in the right place at the right time twice to make the score 3-1. Bourne notched the fourth, before Phenoix made it 4-2 late on.

06.03.2010 Ones unlucky again

Mark Best's goal ensured a much needed point for the firsts on Saturday, but Latymer will consider themselves extremely lucky to have left with anything. Manorians dominated throughout, but typically Latymer scored from their only chance, leaving our firsts exteremly frustrated. 1-1

06.03.2010 Reserves beat Parkfield twice in one day!

Our reserves played a double header on Saturday afternoon away to Parkfield. The games were won 0-4 and 3-0 respectively, with Baxter netting in both. He now has six goals in his last six games, and thirteen in all, helping his side shoot up the table to second position.

06.03.2010 Thirds get much needed win.

After four defeats on the bounce, it was imperative that the threes got something from their home game to lowly Challoners, and that was exactly what happened. Goals from Brown, Stevens-McCann and Walton were enough to ensure a 3-2 win, and all three points.

06.03.2010 Fours remain second

A comprehensive 0-3 victory over Parkfield kept the fours' slim title dream alive. Danny Petrie scored a brace in what was probably their last "easy" game this term. With fixtures against title rivals Hamptonians, Salvatorians and Isleworth fast approaching, the fours will have to make sure that they are on tip-top form if they are to take anything from their season.

06.03.2010 Fives smash Isleworth for seven!

The fifth team scored seven for the second time in three games as their rich vein of form continued. Jude scored a hat-trick, with goals from Morrison, Bowell and Zargaran completing the rout.

06.03.2010 Phull does it again

Jaspul Phull scored a dramatic last minute winner to heap pressure on title rivals Uffs, and keep the sixes top of the pile. However, heads were turned as he celebrated his goal by taking of his shirt and swinging it round his head. Heads were turned away, thats is.. Great result lads! Keep it up!!

27.02.2010 No games due to rain

Every Manorian fixture postponed due to heavy rain all week

06.02.2010 Firsts gun down Salvos

The firsts enjoyed a win needed win over our old friends Salvatorians in a dogged performance at Northwick Park. A crazy nine goals scored in the match, including a blinder from Richard Neville. Enjoy Richards goal here >>

06.02.2010 The Black Barthez

Marvin was in goal for the firsts on Saturday. See how he got on in our Video Gallery. Three great clips. Enjoy!

06.02.2010 O'Brien (2) and Murphy goals enough for 4s

Two important goals from Del O'Brien and a great run and finish from Dave Murphy gave the 4s a deserved victory against Teddington's 1s, keeping them top of 2 West.

Watch Dave Murphy's great finish here >>

06.02.2010 Mixed fortunes in the Cup

Congratulations to the twos who beat Egberton 4-2 in the LOB Intermediate Cup, ensuring progression to the 4th round. Unfortunately the 5s could not follow suit, getting narrowly beaten 5-4 by Albanian FC in the AFA Senior Novets Cup Quarter Final.

23.01.2010 Good day at the Office

Four competitve games, four victories. A very positive weekend for the club. A special mention to the fives for winning again in the Cup, thanks to a Julian Morrison Hatrick. He goes equal top goalscorer with Chris Tucker, who netted an amazing four times on Saturday for the thirds. Thats ten in three for Chris now. Marvin?

23.01.2010 O'Briens at it again

O'Brien nods home his 7th of the season for the fours. Watch the clip here

23.01.2010 Keegan in "Diving" Scandal

Paul Keegan was welcomed back by the fours on Saturday. A goal and a couple of assists ensured success, but Paul was booked in the second half for diving. But did he dive? You decide! Watch the clip here

02.01.2010 Coombes to the rescue

Bradley Coombes scores his second Inter Club Friendly brace in as many weeks, as the first team beat the fourth team 7-4. Unfortunately for Brad, Inter Club Friendly goals do not count in our Golden Boot Competition. Which, incidently, is still wide open going into the New Year! Think I might get my boots out!

02.01.2010 Phull sinks the 3s!

Two goals from Jaspul Phull are enough to ensure a shock defeat for the thirds, who are beaten 2-1 by the youthful sixes at Vale Farm.

12.12.2010 Congratulations!

Congratulations to Del O'Brien and his partner Susie, who gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Skye, last Saturday afternoon. Everyone at Old Manorians wishes them all the very best!
