OLD MANORIANS FOOTBALL CLUB
Congratulations to Jas and his 4s for winning Division 4 West and smashing the 100 goal barrier in the process. That has to be a Club record! (Keith? Anyone?) Well done lads! See you all at the awards dinner!

23.04.2011 3s win League at a canter
Congratulations to Lee Worley and Danny Silman for leading the 3rds to the Division Two West League Championship. An win away at Vaughanians meant that the 3rds claimed top spot with a bit to spare. They played 20 games this season and only lost 3 of them - a superb effort.

18.04.2011 Vets retain Jack Perry Cup
An assured performance from our Vets on Sunday saw them retain the Jack Perry Cup. In a tight first half, Danny Gallagher's goal on the turn saw them take a 1-0 lead into the break. A penalty and another clinical finish from Gallagher saw him score a cup final hattrick, and made sure the Vets won this coveted competiton for the second year on the spin, and the third time in just six seasons.
Manager Clint Anglo was delighted with his sides performance. Click here to read his match report >>

04.04.2011 Ones promoted!
Congratulations to Marvin's ones after they were promoted on Saturday. A 5-4 victory over Danes, coupled with a Magdalenians defeat, sealed the promotion. Well done to everyone involved, esp winning goalscorer Lorchan Travers.

04.04.2011 Threes still on course
A win and a draw in Saturday's double header against Pheonix kept the threes on course to win divison 2 west. This would be a great feat for the threes, as its not an easy league to win. DMG
04.04.2011 Fours put ten past hopeless Uxonians
The fours won 10-1 on Saturday, to continue their great run of 14 games without defeat. If they can keep that going for a few more weeks, then division 3 west is there for the taking.
Another hatrick for Harry Walker means hes scored 11 goals in his last 3 games - impressive stuff. Thats 24 in all now this season, and hes currently the clubs top goalscorer. Gavin Jones scored 5 of the 10 goals against Uxonians, and remains second in the race for the Golden boot . But with Gavin going away for a couple of weeks, my money is on Harry to clean up DMG

27.03.2011 5s smashed by Brent
Our fifth team needed a win on Saturday to virtually seal the 4 West championship. Unfortunately, due to some suspect refereeing, and Brent's third team fielding most of Brent's first team, they were well beaten by the better side on the day. Winning the league is still a possibility, albeit an unlikely one. Well done Tony Walsh and the 5s, who either way will finish in the top two.
15.03.2011 Individual Team Pages & Form Guide updated
Spent some time over the past two evenings updating each team's results and goalscorers. Captians / Managers - pls make a concerted effort to double check these for me, and provide any missing info. League Form Guide and Golden boot also now up to date. Thanks. DMG
06.03.2011 Our Vets have done it again!
Congratulations to our Vets for reaching the Jack Perry Cup Final for the second time in as many years! Goals from Danny Gallagher and Marvin Blake were enough to make sure that they now have a great chance of defending their trophy.

28.08.2010 Family fun day & fund raiser, Sat 28th Aug 2010
"Fun Day" was a big disappointment. It was arranged primarily as a fund raiser - a day to try and bring in some much needed funds for our club. Unfortunately, apart from a handful of dedicated clubmen, hardly any one bothered turning up.
There was no representation from the 2s, 3s, 4s and very few present from the other teams. DMG spent a lot of time organising this day; a complete waste of time, effort, and a considerable amount of money too.
28.08.2010 Family fun day & fund raiser, Sat 28th Aug 2010
Next Saturday we are having our second Family Fun day. The idea is to play two or three footy matches, and then come back to the ClubHouse for a tasty BBQ, and various activities for our little ones. The Family Fun day will start at 2.30PM.
Old Manorians Football Club desperately needs your support. Please come along and show that you care about YOUR football Club. All profits will be used to buy much needed equipment for YOUR team. Please bring along as many people as you can. Children of all ages welcome.
We look forward to seeing you!
